At MongoDB, safeguarding your data is our top priority. During our recent proactive review, we identified that Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is not enabled for your Atlas account. To enhance the security of your account, we strongly recommend enabling MFA.

How can I enable MFA on my Atlas account?

You can enable MFA for your Atlas account by visiting the security section of your account profile (https://account.mongodb.com/account/profile/security). We support multiple industry standards for MFA such as FIDO2 and TOTP. You can find detailed instructions to enable MFA in our Documentation (https://www.mongodb.com/docs/atlas/security-multi-factor-authentication) . We also recommend you enable more than one MFA mechanism in case one of the mechanisms is lost or not working.

You may also consider enabling MFA for all users in your Atlas Organization. Please refer to our instructions on how to enable MFA for your Atlas Organization (https://www.mongodb.com/docs/atlas/security-multi-factor-authentication/#required-access).

If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to the MongoDB support team - https://www.mongodb.com/docs/atlas/support/#request-support

Sincerely,

MongoDB Team
